Matt Brady was born April 24, 1981 in Sacramento, CA. He began playing the drums at the age of 13 at Arden Middle School. He then went on to attend Rio Americano High School getting the chance to play at the Monterrey Jazz Festival and travel to Japan with the Monterrey All Star high school big band. After high school Matt attended Sacramento State University and American River College studying with Rick Lotter, Steve Roach, and Joe Gilman.  After two years of studying in college, Matt applied to Berklee College of Music and received a scholarship to attend. He has now received a BA in music business and is pursuing a BA in performance.
