Commitment is necessary in order for musical growth within each study period. A study period includes: 4-week or 10-week sessions Each student has the right to cancel one lesson per study period (due to vacation, personal plans, etc.), giving at least one-week notice in which case a make up lesson is required and should be scheduled according to the availability of the teacher. For any late cancellations as well as no shows, the student will not receive a refund and make-up lesson will be scheduled at the discretion of the teacher. For any emergency situation (acts of God, hospitalization, funeral, etc.) we will do our best to arrange a make up the lesson during the following weeks. For those planning to take time off, two weeks notice in advance is required. In order to reserve a lesson time, students and parents must establish a date of returning. If you wish to discontinue lessons, please notify us two weeks prior to your final lesson, so that we may arrange to fit in any student who is on the waiting list. There will be no refunds for the discontinuation of lessons without giving at least two weeks notice (except in cases of excessive teacher absence). In case of teacher absence, lessons will be made up at mutually arranged times with the student. Students experiencing unusual teacher absentee problems should contact the director.
